Einzigartige Erfahrung Schon die Beratung vor der Buchung war ausgezeichnet. Wir haben zu zweit einen 7-Tage-Trek gemacht mit hervorragenden Guides, mit durchaus anspruchsvollen Teilen, aber immer gut geführt von den Guides. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Rundum-Betreuung vor Ort, die es auch für uns Indonesien-Neulinge einfach gemacht hat.

Wahnsinn 👍🤩 Hallo, wir, Mama Papa und 15 jähriger Sohn, sind heute von einem unvergesslichen 4Tages/3Nächte Trek mit Fair Jungle Tours in den Gunung Leuser Nationalpark zurückgekommen. Es war absolut toll, wir haben viele Tiere hautnah gesehen. Die Orang Utans sind wundervoll zu beobachten. Wir haben sogar eine Mama mit Baby und etwas größerem Kind gesehen. Absolut fantastisch. Die Guides geben einem alle Zeit und unterstützen wo sie können. Mit viel Erklärungen, guten Gesprächen und ihrer Freundlichkeit haben sie uns die Zeit im Dschungel sehr angenehm gestaltet. Das Essen war immer hervorragend und liebevoll angerichtet. Die Tour erfordert allerdings schon ein gutes Mass an Fitness, denn es geht steil bergauf und bergab und man muss zeitweise ziemlich klettern. Aber auch hier konnten wir immer Pausen machen wenn wir ausruhen mussten und haben uns nie gedrängt gefühlt. Die Camps haben wir immer beizeiten erreicht, so dass wir noch genug Zeit hatten ein erfrischendes Bad im Fluss zu nehmen, oder einfach zu chillen. In der ersten Nacht ging's mir (Mama) allerdings richtig schlecht. Entweder überanstrengt oder vorher was Falsches gegessen. Keine Ahnung. Ich hab mich echt nicht gut gefühlt. Man hat dann organisiert, dass ich morgens auf einem kurzen und einfachen Weg direkt am Fluss nach Bukit Lawang zurückgebracht worden bin und eine Nacht in unserem Guesthouse verbracht habe. Ich konnte dann selbst entscheiden, ob ich am nächsten Morgen ins zweite Camp gebracht werden möchte oder lieber gleich ins dritte Camp um nur die Nacht da zu verbringen und das Rivertubing am letzten Tag nicht zu verpassen. Oder eben ganz da zu bleiben, falls es mir nicht gut ging. Ich hab mich entschieden mich gleich am nächsten Morgen wieder in den Dschungel bringen zu lassen. Es ging mir auch schon viel besser und das war die beste Entscheidung. Insgesamt hatten wir alle mega Spass und haben uns super gut aufgehoben gefühlt bei Fair Jungle Tours. Vor allem auch ihre Einstellung, dass das Tierwohl und der Umweltgedanke ganz oben steht hat uns überzeugt. Nicht zuletzt ist es eine sumaterische Organisation, bei der ich mir sicher bin, dass das Geld auch beim Nationalpark, den einheimischen Guides und somit auch der lokalen Bevölkerung ankommt. More than just a jungle trek The experience began long before the actual trek. From the very beginning, everything was so easy and well organized. Via WhatsApp, they arranged our pickup from the airport as well as a lovely place to stay before and after the trek. Amazing! We did the 3-day, 2-night trek and had such a great time hiking through the jungle. We saw different species of monkeys and many other animals along the way. We also learned so much about the jungle and its plants – what is edible, what the monkeys eat, and even how you could survive in the jungle. I’m very interested in plants myself, so I especially loved how much the guides could tell us about them. The guides were also incredibly flexible. On the second day, we needed to change our planned route a little, and they adapted everything without any problem. We ended up discovering some other beautiful parts of the jungle and had the chance to swim in rivers surrounded by nature. And we were definitely never hungry! They prepared so much delicious food for us – every meal felt like a real feast. It was incredible what they managed to prepare for us right there in the jungle. Overall, it was such a special experience: beautiful nature, amazing wildlife, incredibly knowledgeable and kind guides, great food, and perfect organization from beginning to end. We felt very well taken care of throughout the whole experience and would absolutely recommend doing the 3-day trek!

Fair Jungle Erfahrung Bukit Lawang ist ein wunderschönes kleines Städtchen, in dem wir uns als Familie von Anfang an sehr wohlgefühlt haben. Alles war herzlich, entspannt und gut organisiert – ganz besonders auch unser Jungle Trek mit Fair Jungle Treks im Gunung-Leuser-Nationalpark. Der Trek selbst war einfach unglaublich und definitiv eine Erfahrung fürs Leben. Wir haben zahlreiche Orang-Utans in freier Wildbahn gesehen und konnten die beeindruckende Natur des Dschungels hautnah erleben. Besonders die Übernachtung mitten im Dschungel am Bohorok war ein absolutes Highlight und ein Erlebnis, das wir so schnell nicht vergessen werden. Wir waren als Familie zu fünft unterwegs und würden Bukit Lawang und insbesondere den Jungle Trek mit Fair Jungle Treks absolut weiterempfehlen. Eine wunderschöne Erfahrung, die uns als Familie noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird.

Inolvidable experiencia Fantastica e inolvidable experiencia el pasar una noche en la jungla. El trekking emocionante ya que vimos varios orangutanes, punky monos,insectos...Nuestros guías Sandi y Kandi muy pendientes de nosotros y nos animaron la noche con juegos muy divertidos. La cena que fue muy abundante y preparada por el cocinero deliciosa, su pollo rendang no lo voy a olvidar. Y para acabar el rafting muy, muy divertido. Merece la pena el hacerlo Tenemos que agradecerle a Nuria y Dion la perfecta organización del viaje. Nos alojamos en su hotel Gino's house que super acogedor con habitaciones espaciosas y bonita decoración. También cenamos y desayunamos allí y además de variedad estaba todo riquísimo. La cocinera es encantadora. Por último, nos ha organizado diversos traslados en coche y todos los conductores han sido muy experimentados y muy puntuales.

Increíble experiencia por la selva de Bukit Lawang Increíble trekking por el parque natural a la búsqueda de orangutanes. La experiencia es genial gracias a Doin (el guía), y a su hermano, Te aconsejan qué es lo que necesitas llevar en la mochila, te dan un montón de información interesante sobre la fauna local, y te acompañan en todo momento. Apoteósico final con la bajada por el río en flotador, y con el objetivo de ver orangutanes cumplido sobradamente.

Amazing Orangutan Trek and Exceptional Service We had an amazing one-day jungle trek with Dion (an official guide) and Sandi to see orangutans, and it was an unforgettable experience! They were incredibly friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. Their passion for the jungle was evident, and they know it inside out, making us feel safe and ensuring we had the best chance of spotting wildlife. 10day trek - a life enriching experience in Gunung Leuser National Park !!! - flawless organization and warm support: A huge thank you to Nuria & Dion ! - deep connection with nature: immersion in the heart of the jungle, far away from everyday stress. - wonderful memories shared with guides, rangers, and the whole team. *Planning & Preparation:* 10 days solo through the jungle – that was my idea and my wish. Having traveled extensively on my own across Africa I already knew how crucial good preparation and planning is. However a huge research effort on my own (What clothing to wear? How to manage camera batteries? Which backpack size, what footwear? ... ) turned out to be completely unnecessary. The communication with Nuria and Dion across different time zones was effortless, lightning-fast, friendly, and extremely helpful. Even before departing I already knew I had made the absolute right choice. I felt perfectly prepared – even for 10 days without electricity or cellular signal – and boarded the plane with immense anticipation. *The Welcome & The Trek:* In Bukit Lawang I received the warmest welcome from Dion and Nuria – our evenings spent together will stay with me forever! The 10-day trek exceeded every single expectation. I wanted to deeply immerse myself in nature, experience the diverse wildlife, hike long distances and engage in meaningful conversations with the guides, cooks and rangers - the team. That is exactly what I got. By day two it no longer felt like a guided tour but rather like a big adventure among close friends. And the food deserves a special mention. What Jim-Jim, our cook, cooked up using just a single wok over the campfire far exceeded my expectations. Rarely have I eaten so well—and, above all, so much! 😀 So, it would hardly be an exaggeration to say that the hike was worth it for the food alone! I am deeply grateful to Nuria, Dion and their team for this unforgettable experience. An Unforgettable Jungle Experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We absolutely loved this experience! Sandy and Bin took great care of us, and we had so much fun with them throughout the trip. As animal lovers, we even went out on the last night to look for wildlife, and we were lucky enough to see lots of orangutans, monkeys, and many other animals. A special thanks to Agila, the chef, who prepared amazing meals. Every dinner was absolutely delicious and exceeded our expectations. It was an unforgettable experience. Incredible experience! It is an incredible experience that I recommend to people who want to get to know Indonesia in its purest form, not only Bali and its beaches. From minute one the treatment has been wonderful, Sandy and Dion have been the best guides we could have, making everything incredible. Very grateful for having been able to live those days by your hand. The experience in the jungle... I have no words to describe what my eyes saw those days. I will never forget it. This has remained forever engraved in my heart! Thank you very much for everything 🙂
