5 Tage / 4 Nächte Gunung Leuser Wir (2 Personen) haben mit Fair Jungle Tours eine 5-tägige Dschungeltour im Gunung-Leuser-Nationalpark gemacht – und es war ein unvergessliches Erlebnis! Alles war von Anfang bis Ende hervorragend organisiert: Der Abholservice vom Flughafen Medan sowie der Transfer zurück ins Hotel nach dem Trek verliefen reibungslos.Unser Guide und das Küchenteam waren unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und kompetent. Das Essen im Dschungel war ausgezeichnet – und obwohl wir vegetarisch essen, war das überhaupt kein Problem. Die Früchte und Gerichte waren abwechslungsreich, frisch und liebevoll zubereitet.Das absolute Highlight war neben der beeindruckenden Tierwelt – darunter mehrere Orang-Utans – das Rafting am Ende der Tour. Wir haben viel über den Dschungel, seine Pflanzen und Tiere gelernt und uns die ganze Zeit über sehr wohl und sicher gefühlt.Fair Jungle Tours ist absolut empfehlenswert für alle, die ein authentisches, gut organisiertes und nachhaltiges Abenteuer in Sumatra suchen.

Unforgettable Experience My partner and I went for the 5 days 4 night trek and it was a truly memorable experience. Dion, Sandi and the other guys who made it all possible (Lele and Azad) were all amazing! We were really impressed by how well they were able to organise the camp each night and cook amazing food with ingredients from the forest! Also we really appreciated the bug net they prepared for us each night and the mats for sleeping as well (it's advisable that you bring an inflatable pillow).We walked for 1 day and a half on the river bed so I really recommend you bring extra shoes for this (the roks in the river tend to be very slippery). Since we didn't have them (we didn't know) Dion really kindly provided 2 pairs for us for 30.000 each. Unfortunately we didn't have much luck with seeing animals as we only saw them during the first day of the trek, closer to the village and with all the other tourists. A part from our bad luck with seeing wildlife (after all, it's nature) we were really happy with the experience. The booking process was also nice and smooth thanks to Nuria who answered all our questions (there were a lot) and helped us deciding what trek was best for us. What we also appreciated was being able to reserve a private trek (for an extra fee) although it's quite uncommon for people to book a 5 days trek.

Absolutely amazing I'm very grateful for the wisdom and kindness Dion, local guide and ranger, and his family shared across all interactions. We were able to explore and see such an astonishing diversity of animals in our 3 night jungle trekking without worrying about unnecessary risks or having a negative impact on the forest and local economy.Highlights: the absolute respect for nature (collecting any found garbidge, requesting tourists to respect the animals, sharing best practices and costumes so we can also learn to coexist better, etc) and the thoughtfulness in the organisation of all details from accomodation, food, to activities and to-bring lists.Tips: bring good water filters, although it should be obvious but people forgetThank you so so much!

Tour para el recuerdo Gran experiencia en Sumatra con el equipo de Fair Jungle Tours, empezando por Nuria, con la que nos pudimos comunicar en español desde antes de la llegada y en todo momento durante el tour, estando siempre dispuesta a ayudarnos y asesorarnos en cualquier cosa que iba surgiendo. También hacer mención a Dion y su hermano, nuestros guías en la jungla y en la cueva de los murciélagos, dos experiencias, sin duda, increíbles. Por último, y no menos importante, nuestro chofer Tondi, un tipo muy divertido, siempre haciendo bromas y pendiente de que estuviéramos bien. A pesar de que nuestro inglés era un poco limitado, nos pudimos comunicar con ellos sin problema, por lo que la experiencia en general fue muy buena.

Sumatra: Two-Day Jungle Tour A 100% recommended tour! Nuria and her partner are perfect organizers, they give you all the necessary information, they care about all the logistics, so you only have the mission to enjoy! The tour inside the jungle very well organized, good guides and good food. And most importantly: we got to see orangutans the two days of the tour, it was wonderful!

3 wonderful days in the jungle Many thanks to our guides for the friendly hospitality during the hikes and in the accommodations. They were able to explain a lot about Sumatra’s nature and made a lot of effort to show us orangutans, Thomas leaf monkeys and southern pig monkeys in their natural environment. It has long been a wish of mine to experience tropical rainforest with its diverse flora and fauna and it was really worth it.The tour was perfectly organized and communication during the preparation was always very fast. We were picked up on time at the airport and brought back again. Despite the difficult traffic conditions, the driver was quick and safe on the road.

The best experience in the Sumatran jungle, forever in our memory After nearly 20 days in Indonesia came the expected experience of Sumatra and her orangutans. We really wanted to go to the jungle and be able to see the primates free in their day to day life. From the first moment I spoke with Núria I knew we would do it with them and it would be an unforgettable experience. Everything was easy, contact, info, booking (you don’t pay for the whole experience in advance), even the different changes of arrival of the plane to Bukit Lawang and its quick adpathization. The tour is very well assembled, includes pickup and return to the airport, hotel if these more days, the meals of the tour, water, guide and everything that is necessary and that is not something that you have to carry yourself. Our guide was Dion, alma mater with Núria of the company and the truth that taught us many things. We saw many animals including a mother and her baby daughter orangutan at a very nice time when they are playing. Of the most amazing things I've ever seen, maybe it was minutes or seconds but it was worth it. Don’t expect to see too many orangutans because they are free here. It's not a zoo or a place where you read you feed every day and they're used to it. Here you have to walk and walk to find them and sometimes they do not see each other because the orangutan is not an animal that returns to the same place. A great experience in the jungle, among the best I have ever lived, seeing monkeys of different types, other primates, rare birds and very large insects. Thank you Núria, Dion and Samy (helper, cook, showman and apprentice guide) for making us this unique experience.

Super exciting tour It was a great experience. It was after a short consultation to all my wishes and virtually everything including the shuttle to/from Medan was booked.The guide and the boss from the organization picked me up at the car to clarify the last things like payment etc. The tour itself was super interesting and there was more than enough food (also vegan/vegetarian on request). The night in the jungle was definitely worth it.

Bukit Lawang Jungle trek An Amazing experience! I did a 3 day trek with a group of friends. Saw lots of wildlife including Orangutans 🦧, birds, monkeys and many different type of insects. The guides are good fun and very informative. They have extensive knowledge of the jungle. The meals are fantastic on the trip. Highly recommend. I would definitely use this trekking group again ♥️

The best junge trip I ever made I did a 4 day jungle trek and it was truly incredible! I saw a lot of orangutans and the tour was very well planned. Dion was a great guide and helped with everything I needed.

Unforgettable two days in the jungle We had the unforgettable experience on a 2 day Jungle Tour with the Fair Jungle Tours Company. We were allowed to see such great places and animals with nice guides who were so helpful and friendly.Just unforgettable and beautiful thank you for this experience. Mesmerizing jungle experience! I had the best time with our guide Dion and another fellow traveller. We spent 3 days and 2 nights in the jungle, and I could not have asked for a better experience. Dion pays attention to every little detail, and he made sure we had the best time while hiking, eating, and exploring the forest. We saw many amazing animals, and were given lots of information about the jungle and its inhabitants, its history, and why it is so important to take care of our environment. I must say I learned so much!! At no time did I feel unsafe. Thank you Dion for showing us your favorite "backyard", your culture, your animals and sharing with us great stories. I have only the best memories about this trip to Northern Sumatra and cannot wait to come back one day!

Considerate and lovable jungle tour Bukit Lawang has a huge selection of tour operators. We chose the ones of Núria and Dion and drew our lucky ticket. With a nine-year-old and a five-year-old, I was initially unsure if the 2-day trek would work. Dion and his brother Sandi have cleared all doubts through their calm, level-headed and experienced manner. We had two unforgettable days. Not only did the orangutans delight the children, but also these two special guides who motivated the children in every way so that they "grew wings". During difficult hikes they turned especially to the children and carried them safely down the slope, which calmed me down a lot. Sandi learned how to carve stones and how to make paint from natural materials. The food was very delicious and the rafting the special i-point at the end that the children will not forget. I can only recommend these two relaxed, humorous, warm and highly experienced guides Dion and Sandi and would repeat this tour with you at any time.

Memories for life Thank you for this great time! Not only did we see lots of animals, but we also had a friendly and familiar tour. The tour was perfectly tailored to the group's needs. I take with me memories of orangutans, sounds from the rainforest, cooling off by the water and good food 🙂

Three days of jungle trekking Our guides Dion and Deca took us safely three days through the jungle, provided us with delicious food and fresh fruit and were able to tell us a lot about the animals and the plants. We felt completely comfortable and enjoyed the simple but functional camps very much. We were lucky enough to see many animals, which was a really nice experience! The two included our fitness levels and so we were able to run exciting paths and we did not get bored. Thanks to the whole team, from planning to execution we can highly recommend it!

Unforgettable experience Went on a 2 day Jungle trek with these guys back in January 2024, it was fantastic, so much wildlife to experience, worth it!
